 Sunny, cold: took Deb & Susie home; Edith was there. Theresa gave us pint beer, Tiny was in to Jerry’s, we didn’t go out.

 Went to store; also to Gail’s; my mother, Joan’s. Mary & Ike came for a visit.

 Jan 6, 1969

 Cloudy. Jimmy & Dianne had dinner here; trying to snow. Betty & Gerald were here. Artie McNulty phoned me.

 Mild, 35 above at 11, snow flurries. Jim brought a gallon of ice cream; 35 above now 28 above.

 Jan 8, 1969

 Very cold, sunny. Tiny yaking. Stella brought ashtray, cigs, cake & hankie for Xmas present; went to my mothers; picked up McNulty kids.

 Snowed, cold, Tiny moody; talked to my mother on phone; plowed the road 10:30 p.m.

 Cold. Mrs. McNulty phoned, also my mother; was talking to Muriel and Betty.

 Very cold, 10 below at 9:30.  Keith Fraser treated us to a drink; went to Ruth’s; went to Nelson, he gave us a drink; had supper at Betty_, she has flu. Walker, June & Annie spent evening here.

 Snow flurries, went to my mothers; waved at Ken & Muriel; went to see Betty, she’s in bed with flu; I brought her soup. Hughie & Nancy were here, Hughie looks sick.

 Milder, snow flurries. Mary, Rachel, my mother, Mrs. Elliot phoned. Mrs. Elliot & daughter were here.

   Sunny, 25 above. Mary, Mother phoned. Jimmy was here. Hughie was here tonight.

 Milder, snow flurries; went to my mothers. Nancy & Hughie was here for supper.

 At 8 this morning 12 below, Now sunny; went to store; stopped at Joan’s; a few snow flurries when went to bed.

 Mild, rained; went to Ruth’s, George was there. Rachel was to meet me, never showed up, Teresa gave me bowl strawberries;   got Betty eggs; went to Ma’s, and June is now blonde.

 Tiny shot ground hog. Mary phoned said Betty gone to hospital again; noon 35 above; we went to my mothers for supper. Rachel, her mother & father went to my mothers.

 Went to my mothers; was talking to Muriel and Nancy. Ken gave Tiny some books. Tiny gave him muskrat.

 Still mild. Joan, Mrs. McNulty, my mother phoned me. It’s 3:30 40 above, Randy & Jimmy were here. Nancy & Hughie and us played cards.

 Raining 11 a.m. 38 above. Tiny makes the dogs stay out all day. Irvin and Bob Robertson came with wine at quarter past one.

 Very, very windy, cold, sunny; my birthday_; went to Ruth’s, Joan’s & Betty, Irven was there, so was Bill & Jean Stringer; we didn’t go out at night. Teresa gave me frozen beans & rhubarb.

 Went to lawyers, no check; went to Ruth’s, she was out. Mary and Ike came in. Kip and Jim came we played cards; it had rained in the night.

 Raining, cool 45; took my mother to Renfrew; saw Ronnie & Earl, Ann. Tiny went to Ruth’s, we went to Betty’s; she is sick, came here for supper; took mother home; put flowers on grave;  came home 8:30.

 When I awoke at 7 snowing, now 11 a.m. raining 35 above. Rained near all day. June phoned me yesterday at noon; we went to my mothers gave her present. Rachel, Harold, Ma, kids talked; went to Dennis. Jim & Kip brought beer, we played cards.

 It snowed again 2 o’clock 22 above, sunny out. Laurie and Bud stayed in. Tiny got beaver. Rose was to see my mother.

 It was 10 below. Gerald was here, for dinner, Him and Tiny got 20 dollars each. Josephine, Eddie were in to see Ma; Diane and Jim too.

 Nelson, Leo; Nelson brought us hip of pig and bottle whiskey to treat; went to hospital, went to Ruth’s, to Betty’s, to Grahams. Paid taxes; went to Junes, to Linda, Margaret. Foster gave us honey.

 Sun trying to shine; few snowflakes, Nurses gave my mother a birthday cake. Graham gave her box candy, I gave her box cookies, Muriel gave her buns and piece Xmas cake.

 Snowing, 22 above. Betty and Gerald came with bottle wine, we had one too; we eat rabbit; snowing a little.

 Sunny, cold 10 above 8 a.m., my mother fell; went to Ruth’s, Joan’s; Betty, Muriel, Gale, Reg phoned, also Sandy, Nelson cut Tiny’s hair.

 25 above 11 a.m. cloudy. Sonny took bad turn; we went to Grahams, to store; talking to Shane and Wadie, talking to Bonnie.

 Sunny, cold. Frances McNulty phoned, Mary, Muriel; went to Ruth’s; Susie, Debbie went shopping with me. Saw Mary, Ike, Bon in town.

 20 below at 8 a.m.,  Muriel said Sonny feeling little better; taking my mother down; Bonnie, Mrs. McNulty, phoned.

 Sunny 9:30 5 below; went to see Ma, Sonny; went to Ruth’s Betty’s, Grahams; Saw Rosie, Nelson, Reg, Kip. Hughie was here; saw Bonnie, Mary gave me present.

 Plow came 6:30 a.m., Sunny, windy 10 a.m. 15 above.  Betty phoned, Muriel, Ken, Nelson in to see Sonny and Mother.

 Sunny 11 above 9:30 a.m.; went to see Ma; they x-rayed her hip.  Mary also had x-rays; went to Ruth’s, brought Susie home; saw Gerry at Red & White.

 Zero at 8 a.m. sunny, Hattie said to come up she had Xmas cake for us; went to Graham’s, to Wes’s, Reg was there; Duckie, Rose, Kids, Kip and Hughie came.
