Albert Samuel Siros Wright was born March 24, 1884.  He was  married to Katherine Elizabeth Church.

Grandpa was a big man and was fondly referred to as "Big Ab Wright".  He was a farmer, worked in the shanty logging camps at Charbot Lake and was section foreman of the K & P railroad at Calabogie.  For the entire time he worked on the railroad he rode a bicycle to work and missed only 5 days of work..

One of the amazing things about Grandpa was that he never went to school and never learned to read or write.  However he managed to maintain the position of section foreman on the railroad until he died.  He would bring the forms home and Grandma would fill them out for him.

Even though Grandpa went to Calabogie every day to work he only went to the Village to shop once a year and that was at Easter.  He would get a big bag of Easter candy from Box's store and bring it home for the children.

Grandpa died January 2, 1943.

Katherine Elizabeth Church was born December 28, 1890 in Rutherglen, Ont.

Grandma was 15 when she married Grandpa Wright.

They raised 13 children.

Grandma died on April 8, 1968.

Grandpa & Grandma Wright are buried in Hillcrest Cemetery, Calabogie, Ont.
